Dr. Herring grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and attended veterinary school at Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining Rarebreed, Dr. Herring held various roles in the industry for over 15 years, ranging from clinician to director where he built, developed, and supported many hospitals, support staff, and doctors. Dr. Herring is an innovative, transformational community leader who has a passion for cooking and is an advocate for health, fitness, and well-being. He lives with his wife and three daughters in Swedesboro, New Jersey, where they enjoy family scrub nights that include watching a family movie and performing surgery on various injured stuffed animals.
