Wendy has been fortunate to work in veterinary medicine her entire career. She started in day practice, later working in emergency and specialty medicine. Wendy has assisted in hospital ground-up build-outs and is grateful to have seen the value they bring to the region’s pets. She feels fortunate to serve on a local government commission for the humane treatment of animals, and a non-profit organization providing funding for veterinary urgent care.

Wendy enjoys horseback riding and spending time on the water with her family, and shares her home with her well-loved dogs, horses and kitty. She appreciates that Rarebreed shares her passion for enhancing the human-animal bond
