Fun Fact: Mary’s first concert was Barry Manilow when she was 12.
Mary was born and raised in Maine and never plans to leave Vacationland. She graduated from the University of Maine and began her HR career at Target soon afterward. Before joining Rarebreed, she worked with Unum and The Opportunity Alliance, focusing on leave management, and helping employees through some of their most difficult times. She is excited to bring her expertise to Rarebreed and meet lots of animals in the process.
Mary and her husband live in Portland, Maine, with their dog, Frankie Bean, and cat, Molly June. In her free time, she loves to be with her family, pets, and friends, and to dance.
Fun Fact: An avid foodie, Morgan loves trying new places and the latest food fads.
Morgan completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her graduate degree in industrial organizational psychology and talent management from William James College. Soon afterward, Morgan completed her SHRM-SCP credential to move her career forward.
She began her career in human resources at a substance abuse facility in central Massachusetts where she worked with a great mentor for three years. From there, she had the opportunity to expand her HR experience and to work in other industries such as hospitality, the Department of Defense, manufacturing, and, most recently, veterinary.
Morgan has a passion for human resources and is excited to be a part of a company that places its people above everything else.
Fun Fact: Kenzi hiked through deserts in Jordan, Israel, and Oman to see historical sights.
Kenzi is a native of Eden, North Carolina, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She relocated to Massachusetts in 2018 with her husband, and they have the world’s best senior plot hound, Bishop. She is a proud Navy veteran who has served as an information systems technician aboard the USS Iwo Jima and in other areas such as the Pacific Submarine Fleet. She loves hiking, oil painting, and a good board game.
Fun Fact: Christie and her husband got married at an animal sanctuary in Saugerties, New York, with two rescued steers as their witnesses.

Christie graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, with a degree in business administration and a concentration in marketing, human resources, and international business. Christie’s HR career began in the wine and spirits industry where she spent 17 years as a regional human resources manager servicing the New York tri-state area. She was drawn to Rarebreed as she sought to align her career in human resources with her passion for animal welfare.
Christie and her husband, Robbie, split their time between living in Westchester County and Ulster County, New York. Together they have a rescue kitty, Logan Fuzzybottoms. In her free time, Christie enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible, hiking, biking, kayaking, trail running, and spending time tending to her garden of native plants.
Fun Fact: Terri has been skydiving and scuba diving.

Terri grew up in southern Maine and graduated from the University of Maine with a business management degree. After graduation, she moved to Thailand to teach English and backpack through Southeast Asia. Before joining Rarebreed, Terri worked at Woodard & Curran and ON Semiconductor (previously Fairchild) focusing on benefits and well-being. Terri is an SHRM-CP certified professional (Society of Human Resource Management) and a certified wellness program manager. She is excited to join Rarebreed and combine her passion for helping others with her love of animals.
Terri and her husband live in New Gloucester, Maine, with their dog, Ellie. Terri enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, CrossFit, and making charcuterie boards.
Fun Fact: Britt had a round of drinks with Nelson Agholor, Bryce Treggs, and Malcolm Jenkins from the Philadelphia Eagles one week before they won the Super Bowl in 2018 and has a picture to prove it.

Britt graduated from Temple University with a degree in human resource management and began her career as an HR generalist at a mid-sized workers’ compensation company. She left after four years to follow her life-long passion for animals and join the veterinary healthcare world. She spent five years as a practice manager at a feline-only practice where she became a professional fear-free cat wrangler. Britt then returned to her HR roots and earned her SHRM Certified Professional Certification while working as an HR supervisor at a small law firm.
Britt lives in Mount Airy, Philadelphia, with her partner, Adolfo, and her three pups, Snoopy, Bailey, and Oliver. In her free time, Britt enjoys traveling, reading, running, hiking with her dogs, and going to Orange Theory Fitness classes.
Fun Fact: Jaime’s final game of her college basketball career was a USCAA National Championship game.

Jaime is originally from upstate New York but moved to Maine with her family in third grade. She graduated from SUNY Canton with a bachelor’s in veterinary administration and earned her veterinary technician license. After working as an LVT in emergency medicine and completing a veterinary management internship, she started a role in accounting and human resources. During her three years there, she moved into an HR generalist role and managed the HR department for the company. Jaime is very excited to bring to Rarebreed both her veterinary experience and human resources background, finally combining her passion to help both people and animals.
Jaime shares her Maine home with her boyfriend, Andy, dog, Jaxon, cat, Pam, and Hermann’s tortoise, Tortellini. She enjoys hiking, camping, playing basketball in an adult league, watching Syracuse basketball, playing board games, hosting game nights, and taking care of her many houseplants.
Fun Fact: Tracy loves to garden and can remember the name of a plant with only seeing it and/or reading about it one time.

Having worked in human resources for over 20 years, Tracy has experience in the manufacturing, healthcare, social services and legal fields. She believes she found her calling, as she truly enjoys what she does.
Tracy has a diverse background in human resources that includes leadership, change management, recruitment, employee training and development, policy development, benefits and payroll. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Southern New Hampshire University and holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications.
In her free time, Tracy enjoys snowshoeing golfing, and fishing. When the crazy New England weather doesn’t permit her to be outside, she enjoys relaxing by reading a good mystery book, sitting by an indoor fire or playing a game of cards. She is excited to be part of this team of dedicated professionals.
Fun Fact: As a child, Katrina was in television commercials for local businesses.

Katrina has always enjoyed working with people and helping them grow. She graduated from Westbrook College with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a concentration in elementary education. After graduating, Katrina learned about the field of Human Resources and knew that it would be a perfect fit to combine her passion for working with people and teaching them. Before joining Rarebreed, she spent 17 years in Human Resources working for a variety of organizations in all aspects of the field. Katrina is excited to be part of Rarebreed, a growing organization that values compassion and respect.
In her free time, Katrina enjoys cooking, photography and spending time by the ocean.
Fun Fact: After running her first marathon in Portland, Maine, in 2015, Joannie qualified for the Boston Marathon just for fun.

Joannie was drawn to Rarebreed to help change the veterinary industry for the better. She enjoys connecting with employees and wants to help positively affect and compassionately support the employee experience in this very demanding industry. Joannie earned a BA in psychology and an associate degree in hotel/restaurant management. She spent 12 years in human resources at AAA and held positions at LL Bean, Aetna and an Insurance staffing firm in Woodland Hills, California. While living in southern California, she studied massage therapy and worked for spas, chiropractors and for herself. She often worked on the set of Everybody Loves Raymond, where she learned that celebrities are just people with aches and pains.
Joannie has two awesome stepsons. She and her husband live in Cumberland, Maine, with her daughter and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking and just being outside.
Fun Fact: Melissa reads about 200 books a year.

Melissa has a diverse background in human resources that includes change management, recruitment, employee relations and policy development. Before joining Rarebreed, she worked in HR for TJX, Inc. and Rogers Corporation within the distribution and manufacturing industries. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
Melissa truly enjoys supporting her teams as they continuously improve and approach new challenges. When she isn’t entertaining her dogs, cat and chickens, she enjoys reading and completing jigsaw puzzles. Melissa is excited to be part of Rarebreed’s dedicated and passionate HR team.
Fun Fact: Lived in Israel.

Kenzie grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis where she began competitively swimming at a young age. After a successful high school swimming career, she accepted an offer to attend and swim for West Virginia University, where she was named captain her senior year.
After graduating from WVU with a marketing degree, she was presented with the opportunity to move to Maine. She quickly fell in love with the state and knew she had to stay. After gaining experience in human resources, she learned of a job opportunity with a start-up company – Rarebreed Veterinary Partners. Once she met the team, she instantly felt at home. Kenzie has been with Rarebreed since September 2019 and works as an HR generalist, helping to create a work environment that invests in and inspires its employees.
Fun Fact: Dr. Gill takes weekly ocean dips – even in the coldest months of the Maine winter.

Board-certified in oncology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Dr. Gill currently serves as head of the Oncology Department, as well as the Medical Director at Maine Veterinary Medical Center. She was named Rarebreed Director of Wellness and Sustainability, following her passion to support and foster the well-being of those in the veterinary profession.
Dr. Gill began her veterinary career by earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. She completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery, followed by a three-year residency in oncology at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Prior to moving to Maine, Dr. Gill practiced in Bedford Hills, New York and New York City, where she was named a Top Westchester Veterinarian from 2012-2015.
Dr. Gill loves all things wellness and looks forward to serving as a steward for well-being within the company – and beyond.
Fun Fact: Kristy’s parents sent her to a women’s college to focus on her studies because she was having too much fun at the University of Maine.

Before joining the Rarebreed family in 2019, Kristy spent 10 years as the controller and head of human resources for the US subsidiary of a UK publicly traded company. Her first foray into business came when she joined Coopers & Lybrand (later PricewaterhouseCoopers) after studying psychology at Smith College. From there, she began auditing and working at different client sites every few weeks, which gave her experience with many different people and businesses.
Kristy obtained her MBA from the University of Southern Maine and has held a multitude of positions in accounting, finance, and human resources/people operations in businesses such as IDEXX Laboratories and L.L. Bean.
With a passion for working with people, Kristy enjoys roles where she can work and meet with large groups of people. Her experience at Rarebreed so far has been amazing and a ton of fun along the way. Kristy lives in Cumberland, Maine, with her husband, two daughters, two German shorthair pointers, and a dwarf bunny.
Fun Fact: Sam is an avid antique collector and enjoys woodworking and restoring furniture..

Sam is a native of the Syracuse, New York, area where she began her career as a kennel attendant at a local shelter. She found her purpose there and pursued her passion for animals by attending Mount Ida College to obtain her veterinary technology degree. She moved to Nantucket where she excelled in general practice and became a member of the New England Aquarium Marine Mammal Field Response Team. After leaving Nantucket, Sam worked for an emergency and referral hospital where she spent time in the ER/ICU and in dermatology and later worked as a supervisor. Taking a step out of practice, she refined her skills as a practice consultant.
Sam lives in the hamlet of Leeds, New York, with her wife, her dog, Petunia, three cats, Gilly, Max, and Tomato, and 15 chickens. She enjoys homesteading and restoring her 1890 farmhouse.
