Fun Fact: Rachel met her husband at the Daytona 500.
Rachel lived in Texas for nearly five years before returning to her home state of Michigan, where she is currently dog mom to Dawson and Trigger. A lifelong passion for animals led Rachel to the pet industry, where she began her career in recruiting at Chewy.
A proud alum of Michigan State University, Rachel combines her love for animals with her skills in writing and photography through her dog blog, The Bark Blogger. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new places around the city. She is excited to be back in the pet industry.
Fun Fact: Isabella has a fully free roam bunny named Winnie.
Isabella has a strong passion for animal care. Ever since she was a child, she’s wanted to help every animal in need. Isabella began her veterinary career by working as a customer experience advocate in a 24-hour emergency hospital, working countless long nights and enjoying every second of chaos that vet med brings to the table. She graduated from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, with a degree in political science and a concentration in politics, philosophy, and law. She grew up in North Jersey and spent most of her summers on her quaint little beach down at the Jersey Shore. In her spare time, Isabella loves to be with her bunny, Winnie, and her Maltese, Frosty.
Fun Fact: Katie was the captain of her golf team in high school.

Katie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of recruitment strategies to Rarebreed. She began her career in IT staffing and found a passion for recruitment. A few years after gaining invaluable recruitment experience, she realized that her skills could translate to the veterinary industry and has been helping veterinary professionals find their perfect positions ever since.
Katie loves getting to know her candidates and giving them a top-notch experience through the recruitment process, personalizing each situation to what each person needs. She is excited to be working with Rarebreed to connect candidates with great working environments and a supportive company.
In her spare time, you can find Katie spending time with her six cats (she’s not crazy), her husband, who she met while working at Disney in college, and spending time with her friends outdoors! She loves golf, exercise, cooking and playing video games.
Fun Fact: Regina was attending Temple University as a classical music major when she adopted a dog and found her calling in the veterinary field.

Regina began her veterinary career as a technician at an animal shelter near her home in New Jersey. Eventually, she fell in love with emergency medicine and spent the next 15 years as an emergency and critical care veterinary nurse. Her entry into recruiting was in human healthcare, but her goal was to recruit in the veterinary field. She is thrilled to join Rarebreed, a company that shares her vision for supporting veterinary staff while offering excellent veterinary care.
In her free time, Regina enjoys exploring new parks with her family and wonderful Pitbull, Elvis. She also loves trying new restaurants with her husband and friends.
Fun Fact: Shelby loves spin class and has completed almost 500.

Shelby’s love for pets is what drew her to the veterinary healthcare industry, but compassion for veterinary healthcare professionals is what keeps her here. Shelby is a versatile talent-acquisition professional, having worked with teams across a variety of industries, including veterinary healthcare and information technology. Her goal at Rarebreed is to provide a great candidate experience and make everyone feel welcomed and appreciated.
Shelby has a Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies and is a proud University of Oregon Duck. On the weekends you’ll find her watching football, enjoying Oregon’s wine country or binge watching “The Office.”
Fun Fact: Josiah enjoys traveling to different states to play in men’s volleyball tournaments.

A versatile talent acquisition professional, Josiah has experience supporting various industries but specializes in veterinary medicine recruitment. His love for pets and people is what drew him to the veterinary industry, and he strives to create the best candidate experience for everyone he works with. His favorite thing about Rarebreed is that they are building opportunities for veterinary professionals with a focus on health and wellbeing.
Josiah grew up in Vancouver, Washington, and attended the University of Portland, majoring in organizational communications and minoring in political science. After graduation, he moved back to the Vancouver area and began his career in recruitment. Josiah enjoys spending his free time with his partner, two dogs, Kevin and Drago, traveling for volleyball, and playing video games.
Fun Fact: Brittany is not afraid to take solo trips and has been to Bali, Costa Rico, and London on her own.
Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in communicative sciences and disorders from Michigan State University and still attends their sporting events frequently. She has extensive experience recruiting in the IT, automotive, and healthcare industries and genuinely loves connecting with people. Brittany’s love for animals led her to work at a veterinary ER and specialty hospital in the client services department where she gained her veterinary assistant certification.
In her spare time, Brittany enjoys interior design, horseback riding, and sporting events. She is a vegetarian and enjoys cooking new and innovative vegetarian dishes.
Fun Fact: Annie worked with a local community theatre in Oregon for 5 years as a company manager and produced over 25 shows.

Annie has worked in both the recruiting and veterinary industries and loves them both. She began her career in general practice and specialty medicine as a CSR and veterinary assistant for a rehab practice, and then spent several years in technical recruiting. Before joining Rarebreed she was the sole recruiter for DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Annie holds a bachelor’s in communication and linguistics with a focus on American sign language from The Evergreen State College, a wonderful hippie school out in the woods of Washington State. In her spare time, she likes to read in her home library, cuddle with her cats, Kai and Miro, go target shooting with her husband, and support the arts in her community.
Fun Fact: Rhonda was the lead vocalist of an 80s cover band called Point O Eight for over 25 years.

Rhonda was born and raised in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and has been in the veterinary industry since 1995. Her career started as a CSR in a general mixed-animal exotic practice, where she fell in love with helping people and their pets and transitioned to the role of practice manager. She also developed and operated the practice’s dog daycare program. In her spare time, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her husband, Jesse, and their dog, Khloe Bean. Her hobbies include camping, music, travel, and reading crime novels.
Fun Fact: Danielle has been to almost 40 Brandi Carlile concerts since 2012.
Danielle’s veterinary career began in 2009, spending many years within the specialty medicine space as a hospital administrator before earning her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager credentials. She then transitioned to HR and recruiting, recognizing her love of finding the perfect match between candidates and hospital teams. Before joining Rarebreed, Danielle spent the last seven years supporting National Veterinary Associates by building and managing campus-facing programs, including new graduate doctor, intern, resident, and technician recruiting. She has a strong passion for DEIB and ensuring that the veterinary industry is a safe and inclusive space for all.
She shares a beach bungalow in St. Pete, Florida, with her wife, Angelina, a pug named Mayonnaise, a scruffy hound mix named Birdie, and two cats who like to get into mischief. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys traveling, hockey, live music, and accumulating far too many plants.
Fun Fact: Alexis enjoys taking up new hobbies; her newest one is Jiujutsu.

Alexis earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Nichols College. She’s worked in recruiting since 2017 and has experience recruiting on both the human and pet side of medicine. One of Alexis’ goals is to help doctors find their fur-ever homes, working in great hospitals. In her spare time, you can find her outside with her two Old English Sheepdogs, Nalu and Rue. Some of their favorite past times are walking on the beach, hiking all over New England, and tending to her garden.
Fun Fact: Jennie is a Dave Matthews Band fan and has been to over 100 shows across the country.
Jennie lives in the Pacific Northwest and has been a recruiter for over 20 years. She has always been passionate about quality pet healthcare, even as a young child. She loves being able to help doctors and vet techs find their new clinics by learning all about them, including their must-haves and hobbies. Finding not only the perfect skillset for a role but also the best personality fit is the main reason Jennie loves vet med recruiting.
In her spare time, Jennie loves spending time with her two teenagers, two German Shepherds, and her menagerie of cats. She has been fostering pregnant cats for the last few years and says it’s been a great learning experience. Jennie’s hobbies include attending live music events and festivals, traveling, camping, and tie-dying.
Fun Fact: Rebecca has driven and fired a steam locomotive.
Rebecca received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis on human resources from Baylor University. She had several years of experience recruiting in human healthcare before combining her love of animals and recruitment into a career in the veterinary industry. Rebecca feels there is nothing better than finding talented people and seeing them do incredible work in the lives of pets and their owners.
When not at work you can find Rebecca spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys going for walks, watching college football, reading, and playing with her dog, Gus.
Fun Fact: Bianca has her initials inscribed on her left molar, courtesy of her dentist (she said it was painless).

Having come from an HR and recruiting background, Bianca has experience supporting various industries but loves recruiting in the vet med space. Her love of animals is what drew her to the veterinary industry, and she takes pride in looking for the best and brightest veterinary professionals.
Bianca grew up in Irvine, California, before moving to Austin, Texas, and attended the University of Houston, majoring in business management with a concentration in human resources. After graduation, she moved to San Antonio, Texas, and began her career in human resources. It wasn’t until a few years later that she discovered that her true passion was in recruitment. Shortly after, she moved back to the Austin area and began specializing in recruitment and sourcing in the vet med space. Bianca enjoys spending her free time with her friends, family, and her little kitten, Bentley.
Fun Fact: Josh loves to travel and spent two summers in Alaska at a remote fly-in lodge and worked as a fishing/tour guide.
Josh was born and raised in the Portland, Oregon, area and has always loved nature. In his youth, he played many sports and enjoyed going on adventures such as camping, fishing, and whitewater rafting. After high school, he spent time in Eugene, Oregon, attending the University of Oregon. Josh has been in recruiting since 2016 and found his niche in the pet health industry. He has gained valuable experience building relationships and helping veterinarians find their perfect. Josh enjoys working as part of a team and strives to create the best experience for team members and candidates. One of his favorite things about Rarebreed is its focus on the health and well-being of team members. In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Elysia, son, Rowan, and two dogs, Deacon and Rodney.
Fun Fact: Hailey is a foodie and loves trying new restaurants and cooking new dishes.
A passionate talent acquisition professional, Hailey recruited for various industries before her love of animals led her to veterinary medicine, where she focuses on fostering amazing candidate and team relationships. Her favorite thing about Rarebreed is the support, wellness opportunities, and positive environment the company offers. Hailey grew up in Bridgewater, New Jersey, and majored in business management at the University of Phoenix. After graduation, she moved to Jersey City, New Jersey, to pursue a career in recruitment in New York City and has since relocated to Warren to be closer to family. Hailey enjoys spending her free time with her friends, family, and dog, Chesna.
Fun Fact: Sam is an avid antique collector and enjoys woodworking and restoring furniture..

Sam is a native of the Syracuse, New York, area where she began her career as a kennel attendant at a local shelter. She found her purpose there and pursued her passion for animals by attending Mount Ida College to obtain her veterinary technology degree. She moved to Nantucket where she excelled in general practice and became a member of the New England Aquarium Marine Mammal Field Response Team. After leaving Nantucket, Sam worked for an emergency and referral hospital where she spent time in the ER/ICU and in dermatology and later worked as a supervisor. Taking a step out of practice, she refined her skills as a practice consultant.
Sam lives in the hamlet of Leeds, New York, with her wife, her dog, Petunia, three cats, Gilly, Max, and Tomato, and 15 chickens. She enjoys homesteading and restoring her 1890 farmhouse.
