Born and raised in Baltimore, Sarah earned her BS in biology from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2001 and her DVM from the University of Florida 2008. She worked several years as an associate veterinarian and then as a medical director at a small animal hospital in Connecticut before moving into full-time relief work. She has a passion for feline medicine and has had research published in JAVMA dealing with feral cats and vaccines. Sarah’s special interests include neurology and exotic medicine. She spends her free time taking care of her home and critters and enjoys going to the theater, bargain hunting, and collecting anything (and everything) Harry Potter.
