Rarebreed Team Members Lead with Love

At Rarebreed, love isn’t just a feeling — it’s part of our core values to Lead with Love. On Love Your Pet Day, we celebrate the deep, joyful, sometimes silly connection between animals and the people who care for them. For team members, pet parents and the communities we serve, that bond is the reason we come to work each day.

This Love Your Pet Day feels especially meaningful coming off of our Hospital Leadership Team Summit where we rolled out our refreshed Mission, Vision and Values.

Scientific research continues to show what we’ve always known: pets help reduce stress, encourage movement and offer emotional comfort when we need it most. That’s not just good for our hearts — it’s good for our pets, families, pet parents and our workplaces.

Our veterinarian and hospital teams are on the front lines of supporting that bond. Every wellness check, every reassuring conversation with a worried pet parent, and every gentle touch in an exam room strengthens the human–animal bond bringing out the best in both people and pets.

What makes Rarebreed special isn’t just clinical expertise — it’s empathy. It’s the way we listen. It’s the way we remember that behind every chart is a family who loves their pet like a member of the family. Our vision is to elevate the human experience by advancing the wellbeing of pets, their people, and the professionals who care for them.

So whether you have a new kitty, a loyal service dog or your house feels more like a petting zoo some days, this day reminds us that we are all connected by the deep love we have for the animals that brighten our lives. This Love Your Pet Day, we invite our Rarebreed team to share a photo of their own pets on internal channels and reflect on why this work matters.
